       Readers Theatre program is an engaging and interactive experience designed for students in grades 6 to 8 who are second language learners. Please note that students should have the ability to read English to fully participate in the program. This week-long program focuses on improving language skills—reading, speaking, and listening—through the exciting medium of performance.

       Key activities include:

  • Script Selection: Students will choose from a variety of age-appropriate scripts that capture their interests, fostering a love for reading and storytelling.

  • Rehearsals: Guided practice sessions will allow students to focus on expression, pronunciation, and fluency, helping them gain confidence in their speaking abilities.

  • Performances: Students will perform their scripts for peers, providing a platform to showcase their skills and receive constructive feedback.

  • Reflection and Discussion: Daily discussions will encourage students to reflect on their learning experiences, enhancing comprehension and critical thinking.

  • By participating in this program, students will not only develop essential language skills but also enjoy a collaborative and creative environment that promotes teamwork and self-expression.
