The Film Crew Camp

The Film Crew Camp

The Film Crew Camp is a two-week course where students in grades 6 through 8 dive into the exciting world of filmmaking. They start by learning the core principles of simple storytelling and film structure, turning their creative ideas into a working script. Next, they get practical, hands-on experience using the studio's camera equipment, mastering basic operation, shooting techniques, and scene composition.

This year, the camp has evolved to include a collection of props and costumes, encouraging more imaginative and playful filmmaking. Students transition to post-production, where they learn essential editing skills to cut their footage, layer in sound and music, and finalize their projects. By the end of the camp, each student will have collaborated with peers to produce their own short film, gaining foundational skills in both production and editing along the way.
