Cambridge Summer Program

2026 Cambridge Keystone Summer Program

The Downing College Cambridge 2026 Global Campus Summer Program is the first and only official youth academic program directly organized by a Cambridge University college in China. Exclusively designed for academically promising students aged 12–14, it offers an immersive academic experience and English language environment. The curriculum spans cutting-edge STEM disciplines including Artificial Intelligence, Geography and Earth Sciences, and Engineering, taught personally by Cambridge professors and lecturers—scholars who bring both deep subject expertise and extensive teaching experience to guide students in exploring the wonders of academia. Additionally, five current Cambridge undergraduates will serve as teaching assistants, facilitating Cambridge-style seminars and academic English sessions while providing close mentorship throughout the program. An experienced educational team coordinates all aspects, ensuring students develop both academically and socially.

The summer school features a diverse schedule of subject immersion courses, academic English classes (including British Parliamentary debating workshops), and educational excursions. Through hands-on, interactive learning, students gain foundational knowledge across disciplines and discover their real-world applications. The academic English component focuses on developing oral fluency and critical thinking, using debate to sharpen communication and teamwork skills. Students will also participate in STEM-related field trips, broadening their horizons and enhancing overall competencies. More than an academic exploration, this Cambridge summer school cultivates future global citizens—building confidence, unlocking potential, and laying a solid foundation for future study and careers in an international educational environment.
