Keystone Education Salon: Living with Uncertainty – How to Endure When Stability Slips Away

Aside from the Parent-Teacher conferences, another important event happened this week on campus with the newest edition of Keystone Education Salon, featuring Columbia University Professor John P Allegrante, PhD. In his keynote speech yesterday (November 21), “Living with Uncertainty: How to Endure When Stability Slips Away”, Dr. Allegrante discussed the main thesis of his book, Anxiety Culture, and the prevailing socio-cultural phenomenon of anxiety caused by developments worldwide. The succeeding panel discussion with Dr. Allegrante and representatives from the Keystone student and staff community situated the topic of cultural anxiety to its impact on the youth and their mental well-being.
